Twelve-year-old Steve Brixton, a fan of Bailey Brothers detective novels, is mistaken for a real detective and must elude librarians, police, and the mysterious Mr. E as he seeks a missing quilt containing coded information.

    But seriously, a teacher for a bad guy, that was the most surprising thing in the story. I think it should be rated ****

  10. I loved the book!!! I read the entire book in one day without any interuptions. the book is so cool because when you read about steve who pretends to be a detective when he is just a boy it captures you into the story. i rate this book****

    Steav loves reading th Baliy brothers. In the story steav gets to be a detcive to fine who is mister E is or is it a her.

  24. I loved this book because it started out ordinary and then it progressed into a huge shroud of mystery. This book was very entertaining. I love how the characters were very secretive, and how Steve's teacher was so very innocent.
